Emily Irene VanCamp originally wanted to be professional dancer. After having a time spent with her sister Katie at her role on the Ladies Room movie set, Emily began to be interested in acting. As she took acting classes as well, she also got part-time roles in Canadian television series. A few of the series she had starred in among other ones were Are You Afraid of the Dark? Radio Active. VanCamp achieved a major breakthrough after he was cast on the WB horror-mystery show Glory Days as Sam Dolan.
