Mr. Capalot (also popularly known as Polo Capalot) is a Chicago Illinois rapper who gained popularity after posting tracks on YouTube. At first his releases included songs such as The Come Up and NEVER CARED. Then, he released his SoundCloud debut by releasing the Mixtape "OFFICIAL POLO.G SUNDCLOUD". Gang With Me was Gang With Me's first single. It was soon then followed by another track, Finer Things. He wrote the latter while in prison. The track became his breakthrough single, and millions viewers watched it on YouTube. It brought him to the forefront. Then, major record labels were interested in his work. The rapper finally reached a deal for distribution in partnership with Columbia Records and released Pop Out with Lil Tjay. The song was viewed millions of views on YouTube as well as reaching the 22nd spot on the Billboard Hot 100. This is the first time the rapper has charted a track. Polo G was soon a YouTube star and was well-known on social media such as Instagram and Twitter.
