Alana De La Garza's beauty has made an impression on small screens. De La Garza's parents were both Irish and Mexican American. She was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December, 1976. Her move to Texas to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas only a short time before moving in Orlando Florida. She took part in many different kinds of character roles including local independent movies and commercials. Despite having small parts, the actress quickly realized her passion for acting. Then she moved from the Midwest to New York. Her first role was on the soap opera All My Children. Her roles were sporadic on JAG The Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men in the early 2000s. In 2004, she was cast as her first part of a series in The Mountain which was the short-lived drama on television. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain had the privilege of appearing alongside a number of the notable TV stars, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. The most memorable part of her career came in 2006 on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Then she joined the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. Her character was recognized with several nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. She was awarded an Impact Award in 2008 for her performance that stood out on a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring actor on CSI Miami. She was cast in the role of Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. On NBC's dark and dramatic show Do No Harm she played her character in the role of the character Dr. Lena Solis. After just two episodes, the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her older brother Cory has a ten year old brother who is older than her. Milano was raised in an orthodox, religious family. Milano started her acting career when she was seven after her babysitter joined her in an audition. Her audition was in the top 1000 hopefuls. Her audition was considered the only girl. Milano performed in television advertisements as well as off Broadway shows, including the very first American musical rendition of Jane Eyre.
